The camp is $600 for the week and includes all meals, residence hall room, t-shirts, camp activities and field trips. Scholarships are available (thanks to our generous industry sponsors). Why should you attend?

Because Camp STEM is an unforgettable experience! It's our annual camp for high school students in grades 9-12 interested In science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Electronics

In electronics class, you’ll learn how to build circuits and construct simple motors. You’ll even craft small generators and create digital timers.

forensics

Forensic Investigation

Want to learn how to process a crime scene like a pro? In forensics class, you’ll explore the science behind fingerprints, blood spatter analysis, trace evidence and even buried bodies.

You and the Automobile

In “You and the Automobile,” you’ll learn about engines, transmissions, brakes, exhaust systems and electric cars. You’ll even get to see the popular Mini Baja Buggy racer, built entirely by WVU Tech engineering students.

Robotics Competition

During the week, you’ll work with a team to design, build and operate a robot as you compete against other students in our Camp STEM robotics project.
