Discover Camp STEMBecause Camp STEM is an unforgettable experience! It's our annual camp for high school students in grades 9-12 interested In science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
In electronics class, you’ll learn how to build circuits and construct simple motors. You’ll even craft small generators and create digital timers.
Want to learn how to process a crime scene like a pro? In forensics class, you’ll explore the science behind fingerprints, blood spatter analysis, trace evidence and even buried bodies.
In “You and the Automobile,” you’ll learn about engines, transmissions, brakes, exhaust systems and electric cars. You’ll even get to see the popular Mini Baja Buggy racer, built entirely by WVU Tech engineering students.
During the week, you’ll work with a team to design, build and operate a robot as you compete against other students in our Camp STEM robotics project.
